1990’s

Michael Haith and Michael Edwards lead multiple franchise organizations with in-house development teams.

2000’s

While experiencing the joys of growing healthy franchising systems, they also experience the pains of franchise sales staff turnover, lack of performance and rising labor costs.

2008

Haith and Edwards get excited about the rise of outsourcing as an option for franchisors but discover they will need to give up equity, split their royalty stream, and sign long-term contracts.

2014

Edwards and Haith partner with Brent Dowling to provide a fresh, new approach to franchise development. Raintree is launched, creating an affordable, flexible, proven sales and marketing option for franchisors.
