Thank you for your interest in presenting Wag N’ Wash to your clients! As the Brand Manager, I work directly with consultants on a daily basis hosting education calls, answering questions, providing content and photos for ads, and whatever else you might need to be successful. Once you refer a client to Wag N’ Wash they will be working specifically with Development Director, Rob Taylor, through the education process. We look forward to working with you and ultimately closing deals together!

Lana Mazin | Director of Brand Development

The Wag N’ Wash Education Process

In an effort to be a great partner and communicate in real-time, any consultant who sends us a referral will receive automated emails as your client progresses through the above process as well as regular check-ins with Development Director. We feel communication is key to working together and ultimately closing deals!

Once we receive your referral, we enter your client’s information into our CRM and park them at this stage. Within 15 minutes of adding them to the CRM, they will receive an email and a text message asking them to schedule a call with the Wag N’ Wash Development Director. If they do not schedule a call at this point, we email and text them again 3 days later and then 8 days after that.

Once an initial call is scheduled, individuals are moved into this stage. If you would like to be part of the initial call, we are happy to host you- just let the Development Director know as he is scheduling!

After the initial call, the Development Director will host an overview call of our FDD. He will walk your client through this document at a high-level and answer questions to make sure they feel comfortable moving forward.

Here, your client will have a chance to speak with the Wag N’ Wash Co-Founders, Dan and Jef or President, Rob Flanagan. They will be able to dive deeper into the business model and the Wag N’ Wash team will confirm they are comfortable with your client coming to Discovery Day!

At Discovery Day, your client will meet the corporate team in person, tour a few Wag N’ Wash locations, and learn everything they need to know to make a decision for themselves and their families. By the end of the day, they should have a comprehensive view of the brand and our corporate team will be able to decide if they are a good fit for the system.

During validation calls, your client will have the opportunity to speak directly to current Wag N’ Wash Franchise Owners. This is a two-fold process; they get to ask questions about what it’s like to own and operate a Wag N’ Wash and the Owners get to learn a little about your client, and provide feedback on whether or not they feel it is a good fit.

The Wag N’ Wash Co-Founders and President will host a call with your client to set expectations and make a mutual decision on partnering. If all goes well, 24 hours later we will award the franchise!

Congratulations, it has been mutually decided this is a great fit for both parties! Thank you for referring us the perfect Wag N’ Wash partner. At this point, you should feel satisfied you just changed an entrepreneur’s life, and to thank you for your effort, we are happy to write you a commission check!

Features to Highlight When Presenting Wag N’ Wash

Pet owners are focused on two things- keeping their animals happy and healthy. Unfortunately, this task can become daunting as products and trends change quickly. At Wag N’ Wash, we have created a one-stop-shop where owners can have their pets washed and shop for natural pet food and other retail items based on our employee’s expertise and advice. Our one-on-one guidance means Wag N’ Wash customers may not have to visit the vet nearly as often!

Unlike other pet retailers who are struggling with the advent of Amazon and, Wag N’ Wash has yet to see a decline in sales due to online competition. We attribute this to the curated shopping experience we have created for our customers and the services we provide. To be frank, the internet can’t wash or groom pets, which is why these services drive our customer base. Customers bring their pets to Wag N’ Wash to be bathed, and in turn, they become loyal to us because of the unparalleled expertise our team provides.

Compared to other large names in the pet franchising space, such as Pet Supplies Plus and Dogtopia, who have average investments between $878,000- $1.1 million, the average initial investment for Wag N’ Wash is $607,200 with strong returns. In 2019, our Average Gross sales were $1.6 million!

When customers visit Wag N’ Wash, they are looking for a personalized experience that cannot be replicated online or in big-box pet stores. Our employees are experts on every item in the store and speak with customers about their individual pets’ stage of life, activity level, dietary restrictions, and more to give knowledgable and informed suggestions on food, treats, toys, and other products. Because of this outstanding level of customer service, our Franchise Owners enjoy a customer retention rate well above the industry average.

Unlike other pet-related franchise concepts, Wag N’ Wash has availability nationwide, including highly sought-after markets! While some of our competition has sold out prime locations and only has “B” option real estate remaining, Wag N’ Wash has grade-A territories wide open for Owners who are looking to run a fun business in a booming industry!
